Keylogger

So I was on my main account and my secondary account logged in for like a minute then displayed (player_name logged out) and my account was still logged in but then about one or two minutes later it was logged out and the PM chat was turned off and I was afraid i was hacked but nothing was gone.... Any ideas?

 

seems like someone was on your account. Do a virus scan, change your account password and set a bank pin if there isn't one already.

 

Server delay perhaps? Been happening quite a bit recently.

 

Okay so my main just got cleaned and I had changed the password and it was still cleaned. I need a way to contact jagex because this is bull shit I want this fucker found. I want a list of IP addresses that the account logged into.

 

Wont happen they'll never release that information to you.

If you changed everything, and still got cleaned, you either have a FUD Keylogger or RAT.

One worse than the either.

Best bet is to reformat, or system restore to a safe point where you KNOW you didn't have the virus.

 

Reformat, rats usually lay dormant for ages so you don't know how long you have had it for..

Getting rid of it is no problem what so ever I just don't want them to go unpunished, it's rediculous.

 

When you first log in after the cleaning, his IP is shown on top so if you took that down and want to punish him in some way, use him IP.

 

Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do. Happens all the time and it's easy to do. Most important thing is to set a bank pin. Also change your password every month or so, definitely be aware of what links you click, and run virus scans often. Just a few weeks ago I got hacked. I had just started playing again less than week earlier and I was only level 52 and wearing like 50k while botting at soulwars, so I was pretty puzzled. I had 25m on there though.
