Just got c4d.

Learned that I can't save.

How's this for:

-not a single tutorial
-no c4d or 3d experience
-the fact that I'm pissed that I can't send it to photoshop.

Looks pretty good for a first timer.

Some tips:
•Use more lighting on the sides, looks kind of dull right now.
•Try moving the shattered text object up a bit, so it blends in with the original text, seems kind of blurry because they're mixed together.
•Add some glow/luminance on the material you used, looks just like a plain color.

 

Pretty cool looking text. You going to join the contest?

 

way to dark.. and text looks kinda.. blaaah

 

Look for a better font next time, turn the damn specular off at the layer with the fillet and use some more lightning like W0mb0 said.
For a first time; very nice tho
