I know I'm posting this in the spam forum so im prepared to get flamed like no other, but this is my first smudge ever, any one think it is good for a first timer?

 

It's a shitty signature, but you get bonus points for having FFX in it.

 

Needs more effects, much more. It's very plain and simple, but for your absolute first, it's decent.

Keep at it, ask known GFX'ers for pointers. You'll get it.
