job?

Hello, Well I'm 15 and i'm wanting to start learning and going for a job, Some of my mate's came out of school in year 10, but what should I do for a job?

On topic, if you want a job there are a few things you can do. If you want to start working straight away, you can work at a supermarket, mcdonalds etc with little or no training.

Or, at Year 10 I'm fairly sure you can start an apprenticeship, which basically means going to sites with some kind of tradesman (painter, builder etc) and essentially learning their craft.

Obviously you won't make much money at first, but in the long run you will.

Can you be more specific on what type of job you want?

 

If you're in the UK you need a National Insurance number to get a proper paid job. I suppose you coulod get a job in a shop or something part-time, though.

 

I don't suggest you do the same as yours friends did and leave school after year 10 and just get a job, i suggest you study and go to school until you finish uni or at least year 12, and if your having difficulties at school i don't suggest taking a job either unless for one day a week, otherwise just go to your local shops/shopping centre and ask in any shop that you think you can work in good suggestion would be a video store or hoyts... etc they usually always have a job for teens
