Java Scripting

So i have learned a litlle c++ but now lost my motivation and decided to go for java bot scripting. I took a look at little Powerminer script in pb and i was amazed that i could understand it pretty well with no java knowledge.. :nuts:
The dude just listed variables and made a loop for mining and if loop if the inv would be full to drop it and there were some mouse speed randomers and that's it..
Is programming allways the same? i mean the programming logic?
So now Private Noob ( yes thats me ) decided to get a java book and shit....
But is there any guides to bot scripting? I'll probably just learn java basics for some time, but the bot scripts seemed a litlle simple (powerminer ofc easy...)
But yeah... is there ways to practice bot scripting when now the bots are duuuwn?
