Jagex's Bot Finding Events

So if you read the developer blog on the 28th, it said that starting next week, Jagex will be hosting bot finding events where players can go search for bots and ask participating jmods to come check out people and certain areas.

Honestly if this event happens it seems much more dangerous than any software. I also feel like they could make some serious mistakes by banning normal people.

Thoughts?

Just dont bot during the event? Or are they very frequent?

 

Don't be level 3 wearing default clothing and and obvious.
Besides that you should be safe, they can't prove anything just by watching, even if you don't respond (maybe you have chat off/don't speak English).

Might be nice if you linked to the forum post (or better, screenshotted it) in the OP.

Im sure the session will be short (a week tops) b/c if you constantly do it, PMods will be busy non stop going to places and checking for bots. Imo, we botters should just troll by telling them about bots in certain areas and luring them.
