JaGeX vs Botting

That's the ONLY good thing about botters. They supply raw materials. Other items actually shoot up in price.

 

I'm denying it. Jagex never should have destroyed their game over what was a small problem. You cannot blame botters for Jagex's stupidity. I played for a year or two before they made these updates, and I can tell you from experience that botting wasn't a big problem then. Jagex just made it a big problem. They wanted to look like heroes trying to solve a problem that they fabricated. It's a situation quite similar to global warming.

I actually became a botter when these updates were made, because there is really no reason to continue legitimately playing.

 

This. I didn't start botting until Jagex showed me how to. I blame them and their feeble attempts to suppress a community smarter than their own. They ruined their own game. We don't update it.

Jagex is doing everything in their power to keep bottiing from being glorified to its legit players, while at the same time keeping us botters around to make money off of. Lets face it their bottom line is the income, as is every business. They dont care about us, as long as we keep filling their pockets with money their happy.

 

Just quit then. Why bot, if you don't enjoy the game? You're just too lazy to get the levels yourself, and you want to enjoy all the 99s you get in the end, thus still enjoying RS... that's why we all bot, but you make it look like you do it for the sake of botting, BS..

 

Tbh botting ruined the game for me i no longer play cause i had all the 99's i wanted... and all the money lol oh well though i think botting will take over eventually but at a very slow rate Jagex is doing a good job preventing things like rwt and bots

 

Well, at the moment, botters control Runescape's economy. Without botters who would get all the dbones, logs and raw fish?

Free Trade was taken away due to Real World Trading, thank you very much. And the Wilderness is gone mostly because retards get lured, lose their items, and bitch about it on the forums. Botting didn't cause shit, and tbh, who did it ever really hurt besides JaGeX? And who cares if it hurt JaGeX -- botting is sort of my retalliation for them ruining Runescape with their bullshit updates.

 

There is no solution for this, just like global warming. Everyone thinks one person (you) won't make a difference. This will happen and in the next few years. Jagex have freely admitted this time will come.
