I've been thinking.

A lot about, the fact that I'm the only person in my entire family that is remotely into 'hardcore' PC stuff, e.g. Gaming, IRC, Forums and so on.

The rest of my family, like my cousins sit on fucking Facebook all day..

I have a lot of cousins.. -.- NONE of them know what the fuck I do. It annoys me to be honest. I mean yeah, they don't have to but it would be nice to talk to one of them without it being complete jargon..

Not even all my friends know all about it. Only e Mates, obviously.

Thoughts? Are any of you In the same position?

 

None of my friends ever know what the hell I'm talking about, even when they are asking for help, but both of my brothers know a thing or two. One just sits on runescape all day and can't do anything technical, but the other knows minor programming.

I think it's funny to watch he faces of people that don't have a clue what you're talking about.

 

Yeah sometimes it's funny, when they try to out-wit you. But sometimes it's just plain annoying that nobody knows.

 

No one outside my family knows about me playing RuneScape. Not even my cousins, only people in my house that know and most of them don't know anything bout RuneScape except that it is a game. My 2 brothers know and have played RuneScape with me. It doesn't bother me that people outside my house don't know, I actually don't want them to know as it is quite embarrassing to me. I only earn from RuneScape, no longer play it.

As for console games, I feel the same way but not completely. When a new game comes out, my friends and I tend to talk about it and stuff but that dies down. But still, I do have those several friends that are gamers but not nerdy gamers, they're chill and have their share of talking about games and other things. I quite enjoy it

 

My best friends IRL play Runescape, so it's alright. Also, I competitive Snipe on MW2, and I have a friend IRL that does that as well.

I have a few friends that play PC games with me, then a few that are into techy stuff aswell(my main 2 interests), got a few family members interested in that stuff aswell, so luckily I have others to talk to that know what I'm on about.

 

Yeah, it sucks not having anyone in real life to talk to about this stuff.

 

Completely described my life. Honestly, all my friends care about is basketball and weed.
