Itunes application question

I downloaded free application for my Ipod touch, but how can I get them from my itunes to my ipod touch?

Well once you have applications downloaded to your computer, there should then be a tab for Applications on the left side. (Like it has music, videos, etc.) I think there is a button that you can hit to sync them to your iPod, but if not, do it the same way you sync music to your iPod. Whatever your iPod's name is, for instance, mine would say "Alek's iPod" on the lefthand side. Click it, then it goes to all the options you want for your iPod, what all you want to sync to it, etc etc. So then, mark the Applications box and hit sync and that works the same.
