is 99mage a worthy investment?

 

It's a pretty nice cape and you get Vengeance / Ice Barrage at level 94 mage so that's always nice for pking. It does cost you a fair bit though even if you alch.

I wouldn't call 99 magic an investment. In the end, after spending over 20-40 million GP attaining it, you wont get your money back from solely mage. You probably could in the old wildy days without this BH and PVP rubbish. No, 99 Mage is not investment. Is it worth the money you spend? Yes.

 

Yes of course. It can stop someone from messing with you.

If they see you with a mage cape, they'll think twice before harassing you.

Just get 94 Magic and stick at it.
If you get more GP down the road then just level it little by little.
Don't be in a hurry just to get 99, it will come eventually.

 

i have it and if you actually read up on the ways to make money alching it can be quite fun!... Maybe run some double nats and make alot of cash!
