okay so i recently bought full torva and was wondering if i should dump 40M rsgp into leeching dung floors to get a cks to go with it? would it be worth it

 

What are you using Torva for? The CKS is basically the most worthless kiteshield, since no real bosses use ranged as a primary attack. If anything, you should just buy full Pernix and get an EEK for bossing Nex.

 

Yes definitely. Matches Torva perfectly and has best defense in the game. Easily worth 40m.

Well my problem with both CCB and Torva is that they have really nice defensive stats, but you'll never get to use them to their full potential. Corp and Nex use primarily magic attacks, so you'll get destroyed with the low mage defense of both sets. Aside from those two, no other bosses are really worth camping anymore. AFAIK, the only real use for Torva is for soloing Bandos, which only nets 1-2m GP/hr on average and can easily be outmatched by simply going to Revenants with a polypore staff and gano.

EDIT: Maybe the QBD will end up having a use for the ranged soaking of Torva/CCB, but we don't even know if her drops will be worth the fight. I guess it's all just a wait-and-see game.

 

Whats your Dung level ? and dosent it cost like 80M for 1-80Dung

At 92 it would be relatively cheaper to do it.

I'd say go for it.

 

i own every dungeoneering reward and i can tell you from experience that getting a Chaotic Kite Shield is not worth it. Even dfs is better than cks imo.

 

What will yoi be doing with the torva and CKS first? All depends on what your going to use the armour for.
