Irc, guide?

is there a guide to using the irc, signing up ect?

There are a variety of online IRC clients like:
*www.mibbit.com
*www.remoteirc.com
(Only two I could really think of atm)

Download ones would be mIRC, chatzilla, etc. You could probably find which one you like by using google.

#5 will help you register your name and it has all the commands you basically need.

Channels:
#sythe is the main channel
