IQ.

I was wondering. What is everyone's IQ? I havn't done a proper official mensa one. However for my age I took one which took me 1 hour and a half and I had to pay £2.00 for it. Apparently it was the most legitimate browser one and I got 126. Would you need to take a mensa one for it to be legitimate? Anyway discuss.

I heard to get a propper result you need to go to mensa. My brother was saying that it doesn't matter and how some guy had an IQ of 99 and was like some massive rocket scientist who did the equations for apollo.

Nice. I've had 138 and 126. But the 138 didn't seem very legit since it was only a twenty minute one. So I just say 126 since that seemed the better one.

 

Browser test are junk and not accurate at all....they don't even include all the tests you get in a real IQ test.

If you want to know what your IQ is you should take one at a psychologist who is allowed to take a IQ test.



Anyways i did take a real test a couple of years ago.
I ended up with a IQ of 117.
I had do do loads of tests...tests like Language, Math, Memory (Words,numbers and shapes), Drawing, Solving puzzles, Finding patterns (Numbers, Shapes, Colors), random questions, Finding the right dots on a paper full of dots (Find as many as you can in the right time), put the pictures in the right order and loads of other tests i forgot about.

In the end IQ means nothing...you can have a IQ of 150 and have a crappy life or have a great life with just a score of 80.
Not to forget that none of the IQ tests are accurate the test only shows what your IQ is at the time taken and might be higher after all.

Oh, I understand. Well I do not rely at all on IQ tests seeing as I am two grades higher than I should be and my IQ test was not fantastic.
I give the credit of my moderate intellegence to all the traveling I do.

Very interesting. I agree as well IQ tests mean nothing. You could be a fanatic at science, and language. Then be awful at maths and then that would drop you down.

 

I've done quite a lot of online ones (just for fun) and always get between 120-130. Haven't done a proper mensa one though, I should do that someday.

Doesn't mean so much to me though, knowing my IQ won't change what I think of myself really.

My IQ is high mostly because of my math, I admit that I am pretty retarded when it comes to english. My maths skills are exceptional due to the subjects I have studied at college and now university.

My last official IQ test i get 129 but I took that when I was about 14.

 

I'd rather be street smart than book smart personally. Just look at the people on the billionaire list.


IQ means nothing I can't even think of a place you would mention your IQ in a conversation....

 

I would like to clear something up:

IQ tests (intelligence quotient) isn't your degree or mastery in school subjects (such as math, English, etc). You can't study to make your IQ higher.

They've done tests, and all these "IQ Booster" games and puzzles don't actually raise your IQ, they just make you faster at answering the questions. You have to be born smart.

IQ tests mainly compose of puzzle solving and common sense questions.

IQ tests aren't completely accurate because some people just aren't good at taking tests.
You can be the smartest person in the world but if you have anxiety issues or trouble concentrating your results will come out morphed.

 

Even though you all know how much I troll (<3) I'm around 133-135 last time I checked. I don't really give a fuck if I score bad in reading tests or something. The work I'm planning to do soon doesn't require you to know harry pothead casted imus afaggotus on the 3 headed dildo in the sex shop on 1st avenue. It requires actual knowledge that can easily be picked up on the internet and by other people. AND it's not a low paying job you reres.(I think MACK DAWNALDS requires you to know the aforementioned items)
