    It really depends on what you intend to do on your Ipod, if you only intend to use it for music (which most people don't) get the 8gb, if you want to watch movies and have a ton of apps and play like 5000 songs, get the 16gb.

    Are you going to use it for more of music or as like an all purpose device? If you are just using it for music, don't waste the money.
