iPod Touch 4G

There's rumors that are saying that the iPod Touch 4G will be released in mid-September - early October. This new iPod Touch is supposed to have a camera, which was supposed to be on the 3G. Also, the battery life isn't as great as the other iPod Touches.

Opinions? Will anyone be buying one?

 

They don't really need anything other than a longer battery life and a new design. Old design is old. And they need to be more lose with what they give developers access to. Like, every battery app in the App Store has its reading rounded to the nearest %5. On the 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad, you can do this in settings and it's extremely accurate. iPod users have yet to find anything. I don't know if the iPod touch 2G's GPU supports it, but you can't do White-on-Black either.

 

Probably not, no, as I have an iPhone - there's really no need.

 

I'm thinking about getting it. It's the reason I held off buying the 3rd gen touch in June/July.

If they aren't sold for a ridiculous price, I probably will since I'm still using one of the old ipod videos

 

I don't think it'll be that popular because most people have cellphones and there's mostly a cam on cells so there's no point of buying an iTouch with a cam.

I'll be getting one, my iTouch 3 broke and now I'm stuck with the nano 5th gen which isn't bad but I love touches

 

Probably not. I just got an HTC Evo 4G and I love it. It can fulfill all my needs for a phone.

 

Didn't they like just come out or something lol?

 

The camera is tempting, but I just spent $100 to upgrade my 1G to a 3G (trade with a friend, also it was 8gb - 32 gb) so I doubt I'd be getting it right away.

 

I'll probably just buy some more 3Gs if the 4G really comes out.

3. Apple releases new iPods every year in September, just like they release new iPhones every June.
