iphone icloud activation lock.

i recently bougth an iphone 5s over ebay, now the problem with it is, i resetted is via itunes but it is "icloud activation locked", i need to get the apple id and pass from the previous owner, now my question was is there any way of bypassing this so i can use the phone?

Contact the previous owner , if he doesn't know it/ doesn't want to help you. Then ask/chargeback money and send it back.

It costs a lot to bypass that, idk where you live. But it costs over €100 here to bypass that.

 

Maybe if you jailbreak the phone theres a way to do it, but other than getting the information from the previous owner there is no way to bypass the cloud activation. (AFAIK)

Yeah the phone is basically bricked if it's locked like that.
I'd advise you to contact previous owner to get information.
I don't even know of an individual that can bypass that tbh.

I looked into it more thoroughly, theres nothing you can do. Even with jailbreaking.

I'd go into an apple store with proof of your purchase and see if they can help you. These cloud locks are put into place for stolen/lost/missing phones, so i'd be weary of going there honestly.

Why rip ? If you got proof of purchase, you can go to an apple store im pretty sure.
Or ask for refund/previous owner's details.
