iPhone Bluetooth help?

My friend just installed a new cd player in his car and it's also Bluetooth, the thing is his iPod touch connects and plays music and doesn't ask for a password pin,

but when I try to connect my iPhone it finds it and asks for a pin, he hasn't set one and iv tried all the usual 1234, 0000, 1111 etc but none work

iv also tried both my iphone and his itouch pins but neither work does anyone have any ideas?
