iPhone 4S

Thoughts? Personally, I'm not seeing anything really new, except for Siri, which may be buggy as hell.

 

The phone is a siamese.

i-4s is a reflection towards Apple not making their quote this month, and the acknowledge of the fear of loosing 1.1B this year is inevitable.

 

I'll be pre-ordering tomorrow.

 

Are you using correct word in this sentence? Could you elaborate on what your definition of siamese is? Dictionary definition and urban dictionary definitions do not work.

You realize they've been planning to release this phone for months, right? I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make their quote last month due to the fact everybody and their brother new apple was releasing a new iPhone in early October.

 

What's the difference between iphone 4 and 4s?

 

It's an upgrade, that's for sure. But it does not justify the price nor does it seem to look that appealing to someone who already has the iPhone 4. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I currently had an iPhone 4, the 4s wouldn't be that appealing to me. I like how they have a dual core chip in there now, I like their Siri technology, even their new camera, but I don't think it should be a full-fledged new phone.

I personally love Android phones; I have the LG Revolution (rooted) and it is really amazing. It's so easy to develop apps for Android as well (I'm a CS major so this part is important to me) compared to Apple which has heavy regulations on coding languages and fees. If I can remember, programmers are only allowed to program in a specific language for the iPhone.

EDIT: JUST THOUGHT OF THIS NOW ZOMG! Steve Jobs put his heart and soul into the iPhone 4s...get it...soul? 4S?

 

I'll just stick to my iPhone 4, tyvm. I can't justify paying $600+ for a phone that's only slightly better than my current one.

 

I didn't pay 200 dollars less than a year ago to pay another 200 dollars for the same phone, with a little performance boost and one new feature. If verizon or Apple puts out a promotion that allows you to upgrade your iPhone 4 to an iPhone 4Gs for a drastically reduced price, then I'll consider it.

 

Unless you bought it two years ago then you're still on contract and cannot get the reduced price of $199.

 

Siri is really cool but my contract for my iPhone 4 doesn't expire until next year so I'm going to wait and get the 5 or if it doesn't come out then I'll switch to Android for a bit.

they didn't make the quote because everyone stopped buying product; shares and started buying different product; shares. the phone is the exact same, other then the camera upgrade. every iphone they've came out with they copy & paste the same credentials as the last.

 

I'll stick with my iPhone 4 for now, although the 4S does look pretty enticing.

Tim Cook has been running Apple behind the scenes for about 2 years now. Steve Jobs has been incredibly ill for I believe 3 years with a rare strand of pancreatic cancer. He also got a kidney transplant as well in '09.

These specs are absolutely outrageous for a phone, but they aren't even the best part. Apple also bought Siri for $300 Million awhile ago and have completely utilized it to the fullest.



I'll be preordering the iPhone 4s in a couple hours when it's "preordering" has been launched, but this phone is supposed to break the iPhone 4 sales record, of 1.5 million sold, with 1.7 million phones sold.

 

I'm personally content with my iPhone 4. My contract doesn't end for another 1 1/2 years anyways.

In my opinion I'm disappointed, I was expecting a iPhone 5 and all the talk about it, but iPhone 4S is better than nothing. I see that it was/is produced to be a better phone than iPhone 4, might take a look on it later.

 

What time does the pre-ordering come available? Like EXACT time i'm affraid they'll run out

 

There are 5 lines on our plan, and their upgrade dates are pretty evenly staggered. My sister is on my plan, and she currently has an upgrade available which she's not using. If I WERE to buy a new phone, I'd use that upgrade

 

I'm probably going to stick with my iPhone 4 for now... might get the 4S next year or something.
