Intro WoW help

Hey guys, heres the low down. I dont really care to play wow, but due to some requests and what seems to be a lack of OMMs who are willing/able to MM WoW trades, I would like to start. I have 0 experience with the game at all. What would I need to do to simply have the ability to be able to play WoW to the point where I can log into a WoW server to verify accounts?

 

You'll need to have the game fully installed and patched, which is a pretty hefty download (6GB or so these days). That's pretty much all you'd need to just log in and verify accounts.

 

You gotta download WoW lich king. aand log on their account, thats it. check name. items in bag. gold amount , mounts.

 

I was under the impression there is a monthly fee associated, or is that simply for paying for members on the acc similiar to RS? Do you pay to download the install?

 

Nope, $14.99us a month, every goddamn month..

so just to be able to log onto the game, its $15 a month? Even if I dont have an acc?

 

Oh, sorry. No, the subscription is linked to the account.

If there is no time on the account then when you try to login it will tell you the time has expired.

 

Alright. But I can download the software, and if I am MMing a trade for an account that has subscription, I will be able to log in?

 

Yep, as long as the account has gametime you'll be able to login.

 

Basically, downloading and installing the game is totally free. It's the account you pay for. As long as the account you're logging in to has game time, you'll be able to log in just fine.

 

So to keep your account active you'll have to pay $15 every month in-order to MM. But you can have the game installed regardless (even if you didn't buy the game, CD keys are linked to the account)

Well I dont plan on having an account, I simply need to be able to have the game installed so I can log into other peoples accounts that I MM for.
