Ok Im back stop the Pm's.

He's the legend of the game. He's been here seen RuneCMS. He is one half of the current Community Moderators. He is the one, the only X9.

How are you, ready to get this over and done with?
Yeah. Sure

How would you compare Sythe.org now, say, compared to three years ago?
Well, I think the overall focus of the community has changed somewhat. Three years ago, Sythe was about 'hardcore cheating'. There was a black market, but it was fairly small. The busiest section of the site was the programming section. Because the market was smaller, there were fewer scammers.

Who are some of the older members from RuneCMS who are still active on Sythe.org
I wasn't around for a lot of RuneCMS. I leeched from the site for a few months before Sythe.org was created so I only remember a few people. Jansen is one that stands out. He's been along for most of the ride. Others include SMR (aka suck_my_r2h), Vision Ex (aka She Mines It, SMI) and Vic (who still visits IRC from time to time).
They're not the only veterans who are still around, though.

How does being a moderator on Sythe.org affect your life?
I try not to let anything on the internet adversely affect my real life, but my time at Sythe.org affects my 'online life' dramatically. Much of what I do on the internet revolves around Sythe.org in one way or another. Sometimes it's just chilling in the IRC with Sythe.org members, sometimes it'll be moderating the forums and dealing with the latest drama.
I guess you could say that being a staff member keeps me fromg being bored. It gives me something to do

Has working with Daily made it easier for you to moderate, since you were both modded at about the same time.
Daily and I go way back. We have both been staff members for a long time and have quite a lot of experience. The Community section of Sythe.org is one of the more inactive portions of the site, so having the moderator work shared between Daily and myself has made it much less of a task.

Who is one Sythe.org user who goes unnoticed and why?
There are various Sythe.org users whose efforts seem to go unacknowledged. People who have contributed to the site in large ways in the past that don't seem to be appreciated in any huge way include Clashfan, Pen, Steph, Vic and MittenZ.

Who is one staff member you find easy to work with and why?
I find that most of the staff members are fairly easy to work with. Most of them are fairly professional and mature when they're moderating the site. There's the occasional argument between members of the staff, but nothing that adversely affects the operation of the staff as a whole.

Have you ever thought about quitting forum cheating at all? If so why haven't you followed through?
That's mainly because I'd be too bored. I quit cheating way back in 2006 when I quit RuneScape, but I stayed at Sythe.org because it gives me something to do online. In 2007, I considered quitting Sythe.org to focus on school and I even resigned from my position as global moderator, but I found that I was able to stay active and do well at school.

How do you spend your spare time?
I've had a lot of spare time lately (finished school, etc), so I've been doing a lot. I spend a lot of time just hanging out with friends. I go to church on Sundays and spend time with friends from church throughout the week. Other times I read (I like fiction, mostly) and mess around on the internet.

Which section In Sythe.org do you think is that best and why?
I'm a big fan of the Off-Topic section right now. It's one of the most active sections that does not have anything to do with RuneScape. The group of regulars in the Spam Forum is friendly, the General Discussion forum almost always has something to talk about and the Video Clips and Tunes Analysis forums always have something new to watch/listen to.

Tell us one thing about you we don't know.
Wow, that's a hard one. I'm fairly open about myself on the internet. I guess one thing that a lot of people might not know is that I'm a Christian. Some people who have talked to me on the IRC (or seen my signature) might know this.

Do you own any pets?
No, not right now. I used to have a pet bird when I was younger (well, it was actually my sisters), but it died years ago.

What is one thing Sythe.org has taught you?
I learned the fundamentals of programming when I joined Sythe.org. I joined the site to get help developing a bot for RuneScape Classic back in July of 2005. I soon learned how to program in Java which has lead to me learning other languages such as Visual Basic and C#. It has also taught me about technologies such as IRC and webservers.

Where did you get the name X9 from?
Ok, this is kind of embarrassing. Back in early 2005, I was trying to think of a good username for RuneScape. I tried single letter names but wasn't surprised when they were all taken. I wanted something with an 'x' in it (since every 14-year-old knows that 'x' is the coolest letter ever, and eventually ended up with x9000000000. I soon 'shortened' this to x9Billion which is what my Sythe.org username originally was. For some reason, some random idiot decided he would create a scam website using my name, so I had it shortened again to 'x9'.

Who is one user you respect and why?
I have a great deal of respect for TDD because I've seen firsthand the amount of knowledge he has gained since he joined Sythe.org in 2006. We've talked together in the IRC constantly since he joined and I've seen him move from his obsession with Warhammer and RuneScape to his skill and expertise with Photoshop and wed development.

If you could change one thing on Sythe.org, what would it be and why?
If I could, I think I would move the focus back to 'proper' RuneScape cheating. The programming sections would once again be the focus of the site and cheating would no longer be 'dead'. We'd attract the same type of member that we attracted back in 2004/2005. There would be fewer scammers and a more tight-knit community (since we would all have a common goal).

You know Billyy, I don't spend an hour doing these interviews for them to be regarded as spam. Just because nathan' says they are, it doesn't make them. Alot of people appreciate them, or so I here. Since nathan' posted, alot of people jumped on the bandwagon.

How did mittenz contribute? He helped out a lot at runecms but after sythe got pissed at cheater and started sythe.org, he just trolled.

I've seen MittenZ on Irc before. He was banned for Scamming though(Not sure if he got unbanned).

Im not too sure how he contributed.
