Internet Dcing Issue

Every now and then my wifi will suddenly disconnect then reconnect and say that there is no internet access. This can be fixed by disconnecting and then reconnecting manually. This only happens on my computer (xbox doesn't face this issue).

This has been going on for ages but I've paid it no attention as it doesn't bother me too much. However it's started to bug me now since it interrupts my botting.

Do any of you have any idea on how to fix it? I haven't been able to find anything.

Could just be a bad reciever that you have on computer

 

netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset

Im with DRSX, must be a problem with a the receiver. Have you tried using a cable rather than wireless?

 

Try resetting your router and refreshing your Wi-Fi options and reconnecting.

 

If your xbox doesn't have this issue, it's an issue with the computer.

Is it a laptop or desktop?

 

Are you connected via WiFi? If so, could be your adapter. Have you checked your drivers?

 

Reinstall / update your drivers?

Not as of yet although cables can be cumbersome with a laptop since I move it some

They're all up to date but if all else fails I guess I'll try reinstalling

 

My sister had that issue with her laptop, and the tech guy said it was her wireless receiver.

 

Buy an external adapter as a test. The Linksys ae2500 (I think?) Is a good adapter. only about $30

 

My laptop had the same issue, I got a USB wireless adapter and haven't had any problems since.

 

I just started having the same issue. for me so far the is what I've found.

Being as it's windows 8, which is having common bug with the wifi/limited connectivity. something to due with the power setting for the wifi saving power.

for me it started 2 days ago was slow dcing then almost every 30 secs. I still am looking for a solution for this as i cant guthans NMZ. if you find a solution hit me up I'm in need.

Common issue is old routers just crapping out also, which I thought it was until i learned about the windows 8 problems.

 

Had same issue while ago, ended up fixing itself after few days could be your ISP

 

I found that the following helped me:

search:

CMD

ipconfig/flushdns

enter

 

Try looking at any programs that might interfere with your connection.
Also look at any programs that affect restrictions.
