    Ingame compass?

So i was recently auto-cursing in the fight caves (no randoms) and I came back about an hour later seeing the bot was still going and I was outisde the caves.

I repeated this knowing I had not done ANYTHING wrong in recording the script and came back to be outside the caves yet again.

So i decided to use Hypercam to see why I kept on getting killed by the Tz-faggots and I found that the mouse slowly drifted off the target and ended up clicking next to it so I ran towards it...you know the rest.

And I was wondering whether the ingame compass slowly drifts to a different direction making the bot click in different places and what I could do about this.

    Thanks

Probably the script just didn't last, it might have been poorly made or something, btw what script/bot were you using.

Well, it was a mouse recorder that worked fine for a while but then...yeah

I'm going to test it now by telling it to do the same thing (clicking) on a dot on paint and see if it goes off course.

Mouse recorders aren't the most reliable bot out there, ones that utilize the RS client, and detect colors are much more likely to work for extended periods of time.

at tzhaar fight caves the color detecting bots wont work as well because the 'living lava' mobs are actually the same color as the terrain

Ok, it IS something to do with the runescape screen because I just finished my test with the same mouse recorder and left it clicking on a small dot for about 10 minutes.

If i was cursing things in RS then I would have gone way off course by now but in my test, it was still clicking in EXACTLY the same place.

Anybody know a way around this annoying drifting thing?

If you leave a mouse recorded on for an extended period of time the mouse movements will slowly start to move off a little bit and slow down, If it has a help manual or anything look at it it will say in there, I'v used a few that have done that before.

Wow, I thought this was common knowledge. The main screen slightly adjusts around every 30 seconds.

jagex made that way back when people were still using ghostmouse to script. it slowly drifts because of that.
