Infracting old posts.

Hi,

Just wondering if there is any sort of timescale on infracting a post, as i've been infracted for a compliment posted over 3 months ago.

 

I don't believe their is a timescale of infraction a post but as the post was 3 months ago I believe that would give you grounds to dispute it with the moderator that issued it. PM them nicely and ask if they can reverse it and explain why you think it should be reversed.

 

Infractions last for 2 months before they expire. There isn't really a timescale on infracting posts, it's seen as if you make a post that breaks the rules then it's still infraction worthy, no matter how long ago you posted it. You're pretty well known here, so I don't think you'd have a lot of trouble getting it disputed.
