Increasing Botting Efficiency

Alright, so I these are the specs of my PC:

Intel i7-920 @ 4ghz (HT Turned Off)
6gigs DDR3 1333
Xfired ATi 5770's.

I have hyperthreading turned off because as far as I know, no botting client supports it. I want to turn my PC into an overnight gold farming rig. However, I have almost no clue how to set it up to do so. Help from you guys would be extremely appreciated, including methods to making money.

 

Assuming you want to run multiple bots and with a rig like that you should be able to afford premium bots and memberships on all accounts.

The three moneymaking bots that I use;
Perfect Fighter
KMiner
Auto SorcGarden Pro

Set up bots using unsigned applets using the NeXus client. All three methods of course require some prep work before making profit, it's not just set up and make millions.

Moneymaking;
Perfect Fighter- Chaos Druid (Yanille/Resource Dungeon) or Tzhaar
KMiner- M1D1 iron in Ardy until 80 then gold till 99 in LRC
Auto SorcGarden Pro- Complete Prince Ali Rescue and get 65 thieving (can be done with the script) then collect herbs for around 250-300kgp/h

Chaos Druids in Yanille require 82 thieving, and in the Resource Dungeon they require 10 dungeoneering, both pull in about 300kgp/h. Tzhaar require about 75/75/75 and pull in about 100k gp/h but every 3 days or so you accumulate enough tokkul for uncut onyx stones which is an additional 17-19m.

I suggest all three with maybe two accounts for each bot for maximum gold farming. Your rig should handle it on unsigned applets as long as you have enough bandwidth to sustain long periods of botting without connection drops. I personally have a similar rig except I have 8gigs and can run about 10 bots although I rarely do.

 

Thanks so much for your post. My only problem is I am a minor, and I'm trying to convince my parents to let me set up a student paypal account because then I can sell some of my accounts, giving me funds to pay for members.
Are there any f2p ways to make money besides the mining guild?

And an off topic question:
With a student paypal account can I still spend money on things like membership and can I receive gifts from other accounts?

 

I don't do f2p that often but the common moneymaking on there is woodcutting yews and I think maples now too since the maple resource dungeon is f2p (I may be wrong), also fishing in karamja with that guy that notes fish for you, there are a few scripts for this and mining. If you need to go the all free route I'm pretty sure there are powerbot scripts for all of these including the mining resource dungeon that has coal in it with a deposit box within a few steps from the rocks.

I don't know much about student paypal accounts, I created one unverified and got money into it while I was a minor and then convinced my mom that if she let me use my savings account I could put the money into my savings, then after that I just spent money out of it because it's verified. I'm pretty sure some people around here know how to verify paypal accounts without a bank/credit card number so you can try that option also.

Another helpful tip is you don't want to continue botting too long on f2p with powerbot scripts, you got to sell the accounts quickly because they have a very high ban rate (at least from personal experience).

 

I have paid bots, from trading old accounts. What I want to do though is to start being able to benefit IRL from it by earning actual money.

 

I have noticed that the powerbot client uses way more CPU than nexus, which uses more RAM then.

 

Could just use a VPS which would be cheaper and can run more bots without costing you on electric bills, if you want info on getting one then PM me about it I'll help you out. They're cheaper then leaving your computer on.

 

I'd like to see a VPS that can run more bots then I can. I don't pay for electric, besides, even if I did it still wouldn't cost enough to make a VPS>VPN for my current situation.

computers taking tons of energy is a myth really.

most air conditioners or a refrigerator consumes more electricity. it's not uncommon for them to use 1000+ watts.

i've been running my pc 24/7 for years. a vps seems really over priced to me. if you invested that money into hardware you could eventually resell the physical products.

Turn HyperThreading back on. Even if no bots are parallel you're wasting your CPUs potential.
