Imposters

As it is not on the 'DO NOT SUGGEST LIST', I can actually post this!
(OMFG, people look at stickies!??!?!)

Anywho, I'm here today in reguards of imposters. When people have imposters, they often have to post them in their own threads, or for Staff Members, they put them up as Forum Announcements. As for those that have to include imposters in their threads, they will naturally not be seen, and there are too many people that keep getting scammed by imposters, because they don't exactly know what to do to confirm one.

So, here is what I propose.

Make a sticky in the News/Announcements Section which lists the imposters of ALL Staff Members, and those Members who may be of importance. Such as, MiddleMen, or extremely active pin sellers, etc. There may only be 1-2 imposters listed too, as you would only list the most previous imposters, or ones that are currently being very active.

Yeah, probably a suggestion that's going to be shot down, but I just wish something could be done besides a scam center, etc.

Stupid kids incapable of telling the difference between real and fake aren't going to take the time to check out a list for imposters.

A scam center provides a database of all imposters found to be on this site... it's much better than any thread will ever be. Besides, we probably won't be making a thread for members (with the possible exception of officials/staff) because that user's thread is good enough for the email.

 

Point being. Either a sticky needs to be made in the Sythe.org News Section which shows a link to the Scam Database, or a sticky made with the most recent imposters. Either way, it needs to be known. Do you honestly like going through all those scammer reports? I've been seeing a lot of pages stack up lately, to be honest.

I think that this wouldnt help anything at all itd just be a list of bad msn's people should just be a little smarter and look into stuff more.

 

Agreed and would the staff really be willing to update this list... constantly?
