I sent him 43.50 for 300m and he kept making excuses as to why not just transfer. I had problems sending in the first place coinbase kept rejecting it was a chinese address so he said to send to myself and then it worked.

What is also weird is that that person messaged me privately to join that server and the only mutual server we had was rprogp which is very weird because I didn't post anywhere in that group so not sure "how" that scammer messaged me when I tried to buy gp from rprogp yesterday and I've been in that chat for a while and have bought from rprogp in the past so this doesn't feel like a coincidence to me unfortunetly.

Conversation took place directly in the scammer’s Discord ticket (ticket-1792).

Explanation of the trade:

I agreed to purchase 300m GP for $43.50 USD. Payment was requested via Coinbase. Initially, Coinbase rejected the transaction due to a Chinese address. The seller instructed me to send the funds to my own account first, after which the payment went through successfully.


How they scammed:

After receiving payment, the seller repeatedly delayed and made excuses instead of completing the GP transfer. No GP was ever delivered. Shortly after, I was removed / blocked, preventing further contact or resolution.
