IMPORTANT QUESTION

So I just bought a skilling service to get me 120 defence and after hours of her logging on to my account it got locked. Is there any way to avoid this I don't want to get banned and 120 defence is going to take a while.

See, I'm thinking that since I unlocked it now she can go back on and do her thing and as long as I don't log back on to it, it shouldn't be a problem. They'll just think I'm logging on from somewhere other than my house hence the IP change if that makes sense

What country are you and the worker from? It might be a good idea for the worker to go on IP from your country.

 

I don't know where my workers from but I just now told them to download a VPN and set their country to mine just incase

 

Yeah, you should. Say you're from the US and the worker is from China. That's a huge location change in such little time.

If this is an account you don't really care about, go ahead and let them keep training. Otherwise, it's likely that the same thing will happen again.

 

thing is, when you unlock or send a recover i'm almost positive the IP Address associated with the location it was sent from is also delivered to Jagex, thus knowing where it was recovered from, so if the person who is doing the service is in China, and you sent a recovery appeal from Florida, may get locked again. Not 100% just my 2 cents.

That's what I would do. If it's a reputable trainer they should have access to a private paid VPN as well, ideally with dedicated IPs, which should solve it. I'm not too familiar with RS3 but with 07 it's very rare to have bans handed out for account sharing, at least in my experience. As long as they're not botting I don't imagine it would be too much of an issue.

 

you'll have to look this up but from what i understand it's illegal to use vpns in china.

 

Be careful who you hire too because I have checked and I've found MOST - companies from China just Bot and lie and say yes we'll use VPN's etc but thats to keep you happy
