Illegitimate Bans :3

Bought myself a battle chest on 24th dec, played it for 3 days, and on the 27th I was banned for Involvement in online trading.

i lol'ed...

does this shit happen often?
any explainations maybe?

I wasn't involved in anything, upgraded from a Trial account...

What are the chances of me getting my account un-permanently suspended?

People did give me like 50-100gold...? would that affect it?
also 4 netherweave bags lol...

Call blizzard and explain to them.

 

Try to tell them your conditions, saying you had some friends help you get
started on your new account and you just recently upgraded after being
on the trial for a determined period of time. They can't falsely accuse unless
they really know it was true.

 

They actually can. In the TOS it says that they own the account and can ban it whenever they please. I still do think that if you called Blizzard and tried to explain they would do their best to help you though.

 

Sent an email to them then they told me to send one to the EU admins, sigh...

another long wait, hope i can get this resolved...the ban system is quite pathetic, starting to feel like i've been robbed.

Been doing a lot of research etc, to try find a South African helpline, but i read this from a Forum Admin on WoW forums.. lol.. the fuck?

No, debate it. WoW has a decent customer support program. Seeing as it's an internet product, you coming from SA shouldn't make a difference. A big company like WoW will screw up sometimes but that's only because they have such shoes to fill. Debate it and they will see the evidence and surely unban you. 10 - 100G is nothing. That wouldn't get you banned. Good luck.

Bad luck man. Maybe try some WoW private servers for a while. They're free to play. Look up a guide on internet and tone your WoW skills while you wait for Blizz to respond. (maybes complain again)

Blizzard claimed i was hacked and someone violated my account...
They unbanned me and all my stuff is back etc
quite happy now as i can continue playing, just hope i don't get hacked again, i got no keyloggers or anything ._. checked 3 times... sigh...
