[IDEA] message for posts

ok so i thought it would be a good idea to get a pop up message similar to the pm one for when someone posts on one of your threads. There has been multiple times in which people have posted and it takes me ages to realise as im not always constantly on my thread waiting or expecting people to post.

Not sure if anyone else would be in favour of it but i just thought that this could be a little helpful in keeping track of people posting in your thread.

Also i think there should be an option to turn this on and off as i am aware that some threads attract a lot of posts and it would get quite annoying if a pop up came up every time. But yeah as i said it's just a suggestion and i would like to know your opinions, thanks.

This idea has been bought up sooo many times and it'll more than likely never pass.

 

oh this has been made before? i wasn't so sure as i've only started to use sythe a huge tonne recently. why did it not pass before?

 

@username tagging is currently on the admin to do list.
