Maybe because nail polish is typically a woman accessory? If somebody posted a picture of them in a dress, you would be all over it.
This generally refers back to society's stupid rules on what a person can and can't wear. FYI: I do actually have a small bottle of Australis nail polish if you wish for me to take a picture with it applied.
I'm not saying wearing nail polish is a big deal, but I'm just saying don't be surprised if people comment on it seeing as how it is worn by mostly women.
