Hush Emails

I was just wondering about how hush emails are. I know they are supposed to be the safest emails. Can't recover them and what not. If you don't know the password, I know you can't get into it.

The main reason I am asking is because kero's MSN was hacked. He had a hush email. I was wondering if it's something the rest of us with hush emails should worry about? I'm not sure if it's released or not how his MSN was hacked or not. If so, please post on this thread saying so and there will be no more posts needed.

What I'm assuming is that when he linked his Hushmail to Hotmail (he had to in order to use MSN), he filled in the information that it asked. From that, the hacker most likely guessed the information, or if it was public information, and reverted the MSN.

 

Sounds complicated but what if his computer just wasn't safe?

 

There's just an endless amount of possibilities.

 

What we suspect was the issue is that Kero fell prey to a phishing link, and he used the same PWs for all his accounts. I doubt it was the email itself that was hacked.

Is that why there's the phishing thing along with kero's announcement?
