    Human Freezing

The idea of freezing a human to basically pause his life and then thaw him out in the future so he can then continue his life in the future has been around for a long time, though it's only been tested resently. There now however are actual places that you can have yourself frozen and then attempted to be thawed out in the future. However many biologist are suspicious of such activity, some saying it's just a way to rob people of they're money who can't face the reality of death. Now it's been proven that you can freeze and thaw simple human cells and have them work perfectly fine (blood, sperm, etc), however it's also been proven that you can't freeze complex organs and have them work later (heart, liver, etc). Which is why many biologists say it's impossible to freeze someone. Whatever your opions or ideas are, this is the place to post them.

Yes, there are bugs and animals that can freeze themselves, though the biggest argument in freezing humans is that if an organ is freezed it can function any longer. Which is why many biologist don't think freezing humans will work.

I don't think it will ever happen. Like you said, complex organs won't work in the future.

There is already a topic on cryogenics. Feel free to bump it if you have something relevant to say.
