How'd this happen?

i bought an acct, and i played on for a few days, i set recovs and had p2p info (i jus made him p2p)

and i go to hop worlds and pass is changed recovs are off..

how!?!!?! plz help

 

Was he members? You should not of brought a members did he give you ALL the information of it like on the recovery part? If not while you was on it he changed pass and reset recoveries where you on that world for about 30 minutes all it takes or less to do that? Who was it you brought it from sound like you got SCAMMED

I think you have a typo there, he didn't scam, he got scammed.

Members accounts can always be recovered by original owner, so yeh bit of bad luck you caught there

 

This has happend to me, ya youll just have to live with it if some dum ass is willing to scamm pixels thats his problem and his life w/e report him whoever sold you the account

 

You either have a keylogger or the previous owner of the account recovered it.
Simple as a hat.

Did you have a keylogger on your computer at the time that you bought the acc? If you did that is likely a way it got stolen. Or when you bought the account was it already a member? If it was then the person you bought it from most likely didn't tell you all of the information about the account and you didn't realize it and when you got on the account they went and changed the recovery questions and the password.

 

Sounds like you've been scammed buddy. Try appealing it with jagex but I doubt its goign to work, Good luck to you.

If possible, try and issue a report to Sythe
(You WILL Need Proof)

If not, give me his Sythe name and we can warn people

 

well they can get it back from membership that they put on it and they use old passwords etc.
