how to use bitcoin?

I understand that i need a wallet for it, so i downloaded the MultiBit Wallet and now i have no idea what to do or how to add/earn bitcoins?

You have to buy bitcoins from someone, try any of the major bitcoin exchanges. (just use google)


All you need to do is give someone your receive address and they will be able to send bitcoins.

 

I got my first small amount of bitcoins from completing surveys, you could try that.

The main way to get them though is called mining. It's complicated, so I'm not going to explain it here. Just look up bitcoin mining and go from there.
