im thinning about getting back into buying/selling gp how can i avoid charge backs?

Dont trade with people who have low vouches, if you get a chargeback and its not unauthorized call paypal and say its a virtual trade and you'll win the case

no offense, but how'd you even get into it in the past and not remember.. I mean I did it early on as well, and I still remember how to succeed running a small business, I was turning over a profit of about 20-30usd per day

 

Unauthorized payments are usually payments made with stolen credit cards, paypals, etc. So if you run into one of them theres almost no chance you can win them. That's why you should only accept PayPal from people with a good amount of vouches.

 

The majority of chargebacks that take place successfully are unauthorized ones.

This is where the person uses a proxy to make the payment so that when they claim it was unauthorized, then paypal check and see it was a payment made from a different IP. This then grants them the win of the dispute.
