How do serials work?!

I topped up my phone today So I went to the cash-out and bought a top-up voucher. I entered in the serial and my phones got £10 now like I bought. It got me thinking, millions of phones use my network which means a shit load of serials are already active right, yet I type one in randomly it will fail every time.

How does it work then? Keygens work by recognising the softwares algebra pattern doesn't it? There are many things in this world I can't begin to imagine how they work lol but serials?

If so anyone got a top-up keygen lolz.

How many numbers in the serial code is what I need to know

 

keygens take a long time to form when you get a serial it follows a pattern with tons of offsets and little kinks that are hard to get around the only easy way to do that would be to get a program that randomly guesses the codes but this is ileagal and will get you arrested easily

 

lol yes, there are many serial numbers but keep in mind the amount of numbers and ur chances of breaking one are low because even tho there are millions. Lots of them get used (canceled or expired) and they need to be activited, which happens once their out of warehouse. HOwever if there is like 8 numbers put "999999999!" (9 factorial, forgot formula but i think thats it..) into calculator u will see all the possibility. it's most likely u will get an error because ur newby cal can't handle the amount of possible outcomes

 

I'm confused..top-up is when you get credit for something.

It all REALLY depends on what you are buying/updating/adding credit to.

 

To top up moblies you pay for a voucher, and that voucher has a serial you enter into your phone giving you credit.

 

These types of serials, are registered on their network when you buy the voucher. When you enter the serial, the information about the serial is downloaded from the network and appropriate transfers made to your account.
