Haha, genes can skip a generation. Don't worry.

Just because your dad is tall doesn't mean you're guaranteed to be tall.

    Your kids might, however.

For example there are plenty of really tall people with tiny parents.

Well what i'm getting at is that you cannot argue with your genes nor can you try and get help to make you taller :( sorry!

Skip a generation means you won't always get your parent's genes.

People develop at different rates, and at different times. You'll almost certainly shoot up at some point in the next few years, don't worry about it.

You don't stop growing to your early 20s , just be patient.

If he's almost 16 he most certainly HAS hit puberty. You might be having a latent pubescent growth or something, contact a doctor.

your expected height should be 5'10"-6 feet.

expected average high is as followed

    (moms height+4 inches +dads height)/2

I haven't grown much since gr 9, but most MALES slow down at *around* age 17. If you're under 5 9 by your 17th birthday get HGH immediately, i'd recommend seeking advice from a doctor by age 16.5.

Really, there is absolutely nothing for you to worry about. You'll grow later on like your dad did.
