Ok i dont know if this is the right section but whatever. I need help my brother spilled soda on laptop like a 3 mounths ago then we went on vaction now the laptop works fine but we use a plug in key board but the laptop j key will not stop typing. it keeps going jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj till u hit v on the laptop keyboard and it does it every 5 seconds help please. Can i disable the whole keyboard with out taking the comp apart detroying it or sending it in.
Click start Type in 'Keyboard' and 'On screen keyboard' as well as just a regular 'Keyboard' option will appear. Click the one titled 'Keyboard' Go to Hardware > properties > select the key board > Driver > Disable
try doing it on an admin account. also if you are running vista then run it as the actual administrator not as computer administrator.
