im wondering how people can trade their gamer tag? i want to sell mine but i done get it

 

Ok you seem trusted enough for newer people to go first to you

Buyer: Sends you X amount of $ on paypal or gives you anther good

You (Seller): Gives you the Hotmail/Yahoo/AOL account name and password you used to register your xbox account your selling

From there, you (buyer) can recover the gamer tag on the dash board where you log in, takes some time to recover if you got a high gamer score, and boom, its a trade!

And if no one trusts one anther the MM just does it one at a time bla bla you know lol.

 

Don't forget, hit the Xbox Guide button after recovering the gamertag, go all the way over to Account Management, and hit Change Windows Live ID or whatever it says there. After that, there's no way they can get their gamertag back (as far as I know) and your trade will be completed.

 

oh ok but my xbox acc needs to be filled with membership? riight

 

it doesn't HAVE TO be, but let them know if it does or doesn't have live, if it doesn't they can get a code or something and add it them selves.

 

I don't know how much you know about Xbox Live, so sorry if I'm saying some stuff that sounds obvious to you here.

There's two types of XBL, Silver and Gold. Silver is free. As long as you have either Silver or Gold, the person can recover the gamertag. So you don't really have to buy Xbox Live Gold just to sell it.
