help with streaming

Hello me and a few of my friends are looking to stream, what kind of desktop or laptop should we get?

 

What games are you looking to play/stream?

 

not sure yet, just computer games

 

For RuneScape or LoL you could probably use a $500 prebuilt and do just fine. For more intense games like GTAV you might want to look into building your own PC.
If you don't yet know what software to use, I'd recommend OBS. I love using it.

 

I'd definitely second the recommendation for OBS.
I can stream almost anything just fine with my prebuilt iBuyPower that was ~$850.

Keep in mind what you are planning to use for a audio and/or webcam, as those costs can add up as well.

If you're looking to stream games that aren't graphic intensive any computer that runs windows 7/10 should work well
