    Help with Ipod!

    Hey :D

I'm getting an Ipod for Christmas, and it has 180GB of memory.

    My laptop has 70GB :(

I was thinking I could just delete music from my laptop after I've put it on my Ipod. I asked the guy in the shop about it, he said turning off automatic sync will let me delete songs from my laptop and let them stay on my ipod.

But can I add songs without putting automatic sync back on? He didn't really answer this o_O

I think I've explained what I mean pretty well, if anybody doesn't understand... I'll try to explain it better :D

    Thank you!

I think you can drag music files right into ipod's folder when you open it. It works with my 8gb mp3 player.

Yep the owner is completely stupid on the topic since the file for the ipod in my computer the music, is in different format.

You can just sync your music to your ipod, then delete them from the pc, if thats what you mean.

Also you can pick to manage your own ipod via itunes so you control what syncs through to your phone, but this has a draw back for instance unless you have music in albums, then you will have to do it 1 by 1.
