    Help with dog

Okay, so my dog is the most paranoid living creature on this Earth. He is afraid of his food dish! It's hard enough with a sheltie that can't walk well, a fat Australian Shepard, a biting Shih-Tzu, and now a paranoid Lhasa-Apso? Anyways, he was abused when he was a baby by the breeder, and he's afraid of everything.

    Can anyone help please?

Well first of all I'd beat the shit out of the breeder.. But other than that you should probably get help from the vet, seems like a tricky situation.

I would bring it to a trainer or something. Someone that can help it not be afraid of things.

Maybe there are anti-anxiety pills and stuff for dogs as well?

All I can say (other than what has been previously stated - a vet and anti-anxiety pills) is that be nice to it over a period of time.

I once had a chihuahua was absolutely vicious and afraid of people. Over four years, she's gotten to the point that strangers can pick her up without being bitten (which was impossible beforehand, she would run across the couch and bite someone if they sat down on the same couch as her). She's a normal chihuahua after being unbearable for such a long time.

These kind of things go away with time and caring, in my experience.

I would advise you to take him to a vet or a specialist, either way you can try to condition him to feed from the food dish? I've had a dog that would never go near water so I kind of had the same problem.

I would just try to give it a lot of gentle loving care. Just dont do anything that might scare him, pet him, hug him, and just love him.

If that doesnt help then seek a trainer.

Give him attention and positive reinforcement. Don't hurt it, a kicked dog can reform, but go and beat the living fuck out of the last douchebag cuntface son of a whore that beat a small living creature.

Be extremely nice constantly. Treats for no reason, lots of praise, etc., etc.

When patting him to start, never pat the face/head. Just on the body etc. Always put on a happy tone when speaking to him and constantly treat him for being warm n playful.

My dog had the same problem.

My dog has a similar problem. She is scared of rain, well actually any type of weather. I usually trick her into going outside during the rain though, and she is getting more use to it.

I would say just bring it to a trainer or, do something like play with it a lot.. It should work.
