I have a 60 att 80 str pure and just finished the Tree Gnome Village required for Monkey Madness and got 11k attack xp I didn't need

Is there a way to complete a quest without getting the rewards/xp?

If I remembered correctly, just do not talk to the npc if you do not want the 11k attack exp.

 

And I will still be finished the quest?

 

You complete the quest first and if you want the exp, you need to talk to the gnome.

You will complete the quest without any experience gain.

 

Monkey Madness does not give attack exp anymore unless you request it, but the prerequisite quests give enough xp to go from 60 to 61. Most quests still have automatic XP rewards, so the answer to your question is no. Monkey Madness is one of the very few that lets you optionally choose to get the xp rewards.

Most likely as you get the xp in the same way. By talking to someone after the quest I'm sure of.

I'm sorry I was wrong. You cannot avoid getting xp. You get the xp as you finish the quest. :/

 

It's only a few select quests that you don't get the quest reward experience immediately with the Congrats screen. Monkey Madness is one of them that you do not instantly get the experience. The Grand Tree and Tree Gnome Village you get it instantly so you may want to stick to the Dragon Longsword if you do not want the magic experience.

 

W/E I'll just get the magic xp and attack, i'll make it a 70 attack pure then + mage and range later on then
