Help Please.

I wasn't shure where to put this. Soooo i'll place it here.

So almost a month ago I tryed to buy 50$ worth of gold through playauctions using paypal.

Right after I sent the money my account was suspended. The seller never got the cash and I was sent an email that my payment would be refunded.



I have talked to playauctions AT LEAST 10 times and they CONTINUE to insist they refunded the money, and that it is paypal who is holding it.




I called Paypal and they told me it is not them but the company, because they must cancel the transaction.

I'm at a lost of what to do and if I will ever get my cash back.

I did add a pre-paid Visa card to my Paypal account and what is what I was paying from, if that makes a difference.

 

Paypal isn't going to hold your money from you, especially not $50.

I would talk to PlayAuctions and inform them PayPal has ensured you that they do not have your money and it was never sent from PA. Personally i would threaten them with a law suit just to scare them.

Did you get an email from PA informing you that you would be credited back?

 

Don't know what you mean by that. But as you can see they say it will be refunded within 3 days. Its been over a month.

i just never use PA lol mostly because i hardly ever trade and they also have some stupid rules about gettin registered

That is a really sticky situations man Sorry to hear about that.

I would reccommend gathering AS MUCH evidence as possible from both Player Auctions & PayPal. Make sure you get screenshots and other evidence of both companies denying that they have your money, and then contact each of them seperately with the evidence and see if you can pressure them into refunding you.

In this case, I don't really see much that you can do other than persistently bug them and raise a big stink until they decide they are better off just to refund you rather than fight you any longer.

 

Charging back the payment wouldn't work. I'll try what zerker said. Thanks a lot!
