Help!! Java Virus!!!

There Was A Link I Pressed It And Then Closed
A Few Seconds Later A Batch File Opened Up And Shut Down My Comp
I Came back On My RS Cash Was Gone
And The Virus Is Still Here
How Do I Remove Virus?????? :S

i would suggest to
A) not click on random links anymore.
B) Put a bank pin on your rs acc and bank everything before you logout.
C) install a free antivirus (something trusted. i use Avast. its goooood.)
D) scan your computer after installing the antivirus, using the longest scan.
E) Change your password, recoveries and your email password after the scan.
F) If it still persists, Roll back your computer or re-install windows to remove the virus (NOTE. you will lose some, if not all of your personal data doing so.)

Sun a scan on your computer with your antivirus, also run antimalware software...

To be sure reinstall Windows...

 

no need to reinstall windows, just get avast

 

Problem is I had AVG And Avast Both Fully Running
This Wasnt A Virus I Dunoo how He Did It :S
Its Probably Through Java

 

Turn off your internet at the mains and do a complete scan/clean/restore.

 

Usually you can remove these pretty easily with a free antivirus such as Avast/AVG.. but sometimes they are FUD (Fully Undetectable) and in that case the only way to 100% positively remove it is to reformat your entire computer.

 

antimalware bytes is good, and free for scans and removal

 

^this! and avg is also decent for a freebie antivirus. You can always get a paid one too in that instance I would rec commend Kaspersky ^_^

 

Download malwarebytes, turn your internet off and scan your computer.

Yeh this happend to me the other day just reformat your computer it is really easy or just buy kaspersky it is really cheap and fully worth it lol.

 

It would've been a virus transmitted by Java Script/Drive By. A lot of viruses are undetectable.

OK so he has done all the damage he can do? Open your computer in safe mode and install Eset NOD. Run a full scan and keep it installed.

Next time, don't put this in Runescape 2 General.

 

yes i had this aswell, dont click on any email the so called Jagex send to you about infractions or what not. Jagex only contacts you via email for account recovery and Email registration.
