I'm a student currently enrolled at the University of Virginia. I'm very interested in the gold business surrounding Runescape. One of my close friends suggested I join Sythe so here I am.

There is a lot of potential in the gold trading business here at Sythe, especially if you have the time and effort. Start small, learn the ropes, and you can soon have a successful business going. We need more legit members of this community.

 

In my own opinion I'd disregard what L2YM is saying, you will not be able to jump into gold selling without having a lot of money to invest beforehand, and I mean a lot, and you'll need a lot of money to have any potential in gold trading. There's just too many market giants who specialize in gold sales and merchanting. If you want to be big, and to have a consistent and well stocked shop, the least you should start out with is 1b RSGP, and that costs around 400-500 dollars depending on where you buy it. The second thing you need is a foolproof way to win paypal chargeback claims since it happens all to often, and paypal is the easiest and most widely used payment method. You could always use Western Union, but the fees are not conducive to smaller transactions. Anything below 20 dollars sent via WU is just a waste of money.

This is all if you want to make a business out of buying and selling gold. If you're here to just sell a stock of gold that you might have at the moment to make some quick money, then you can easily do that by rooting around the Gold Buying forum. I suggest you trade with highly trusted users though, and avoid other users of your caliber (low post count, low donor, low vouch count) as it's a lot more likely you'll run into a scammer.
