Head User Educators

Recently, I have felt that the head user educators have not been doing as good a job as they can, and have barely been active. While making my UE application, I PMed both of them for input, as they suggest that you do. Neither responded. After my application was complete, I requested it be moved to pending and reported it multiple times, but not even then did they move it, and I needed to get a global to do it. R33l apologized for this, but it was still disconcerting that they couldn't manage that menial task. After my application was denied, I PMed both Dalpra and R33l (about 2 weeks ago), asking why it was denied and if they could help me perfect my next application. Still no response.

Please post your view on their activity and how they do their job.

 

I know r33ls been busy with college. Dalpra isn't on as much as he used to be from what I can see. Just be patient I know you don't want to hear it but they have to deal with all of us.

1000 users to 15 mods/2 HUE.

 

Most of the work they do is behind the scenes, but R33l has moved off to college and been busy, hence why he has stepped down as HUE for now and Heavenlord has taken his place.

 

I know they are busy and do work, but that is their job. All staff members should be able to do that, as they committed to be able to do that when their signed up for their position.

 

HeavenLord's an active HUE. Try PMing him. You can't expect everyone to be problem free IRL.

 

Remember, you can message a regular UE and we can try too help you out

 

I'm not asking everyone to be problem free, I'm asking that staff be able to do their jobs efficiently or be suspended/resign. I don't like when staff members use IRL excuses over long periods of time, because I feel that they should be able to put the time in, or suspend themselves until they can, as I stated before.

I just came back from vacation and didn't see HavenLord was a new HUE. I will PM him.

Rob is normally pretty active, but he stepped down temporarily since he is moving to college.

But when I did pm R33l and Dalpra they didn't respond but they did do what I ask (moving my thread, opening so I can re-apply).

 

I'm sorry but you expect the staff to forfeit their IRL situations to moderate a gaming forum? I'm sorry but I would consider that ridiculous....

This really doesn't sound like feedback but rage that you were rejected, HUE's and moderators surprisingly have a life outside of Sythe to, so when they don't answer your messages instantly don't take it so harshly but understand not everyone is always going to be there 24/7 to care for your every need. Also try to remember that these are volunteers and for the amount of work they do for free I think they're doing splendid.

 

Hmm, OK that is a little disappointing. Remember, you can always try a global moderator.

This has nothing to do with me being accepted or rejected. I believe that they need to be more active.

 

R33l2r3al won't be as active he used to be and has stepped down from Global/HUE for the time being. I'm not sure about Dalpra's activity publicly, but he does a lot behind the scenes. HeavenLord was recently given the HUE rank/perms, so you can contact him to see the reasons on why you were denied, and if it's okay with the HUEs, us regular UEs could answer you questions and concerns that you have.

 

This has been the case with me. R33l is wonderful and does his part but dalpra isn't doing as much as he should be. I ones him also and no response.

 

Dalps is not too bad. I PMed him for something UE-related and it was done within the hour. Rob is away and I hope he'll be back soon.

 

dalps does a ton of work behind the scene and recently with the HUE change things have probably been less productive then usual. But you can always PM me or any of the user educators for help, its why we are here.

 

I was promoted for the exact reason you are making the thread. Unfortunately, Dalpra cannot be on 24/7 and he's also in a completely different time zone and r33l has temporarily resigned because he does in fact have IRL stuff to do (college), hence my temporary holding of his position.
