    For me 1500 cals goes like this:

    breakfast: soup
    no lunch
    snack after practice
    dinner

    At schools, lunches are 500-2000 cals easily.

    All schools in Australia are required to be "healthy" with no chocolates, no soft drinks, no high sugar foods :'( .

    Good thing is that when they were healthy no one used to purchase things, so now they have sugary foods again :D .

    Most schools here don't add crap, but the foods have high calorie contents.

    Like skele said, you're all morons. Especially D00M.

    Any "personal trainer in training" should know that you need to have a hearty and sufficient diet to make up for the calories burnt while working out. You're making yourself out to be ripped, toned, etc.. Yet you would probably have trouble carrying around your own muscle if you only consume 1600 calories a day.

    A. I'm not trying to get "ripped or toned".

    B. I normally eat 1800 calories A day, as I am vegan. There's not too many calories in A salad with vinaigrette.

    C. I'm not trying to lose weight i'm just trying to keep it down.

    Bull shit, unless you don't undergo any physical activity all day, I guess your disabled or just stay at home all day.

    Less than 500 cals and your just either stupid or anorexic prick who's going to die.

    Unless you don't move much during the day, it's going to be very hard to not loose a lot of weight only consuming 1800 calories a day.

    My whole hockey team goes and lifts together tuesday-thursday-saturday. Consists of weights, stretching, pushups/situps/agility. I run between 2-5miles a day when I don't have workout.

    Shakaka i dont know where you live (i'm guessing america), they feed you a whole lot of bull shit over in the states.

    "In a balanced diet, roughly 60% of your calories should come from carbs. The average man between the ages of 19 and 30 needs 1,200 calories per day. Active men can add about 300 carb calories to their daily intake. The majority of the carbohydrate sources are healthy. Fruits and vegetables contain both fructose and fiber."

    Shakaka im a personal trainer, not a body builder. I do not require that many carbs or calories. Im not about being "big" but im about being solid and well built. a 1600 Calorie diet does this for me.

    i fell off my chair, thanks for the laugh. If your serious please get help.

    this.

    is this in kilos?

    if so mine looks something like this:

    Weight = 75
    Legs = 320
    Bench = 85 (max 110)
    Crunch = The full machine (not sure what it is)
    curl = 20kg

    Not sure what your talking about but for an average man, 1200 calories is not going to cut it. RMR (Resting Metabolism Rate) for an average male doing little to no work would be at least 1700. A healthy diet would be at least 2100 calories.

    How your a personal trainer and only getting 1600 is beyond me..
