    Guitar Hero Controller Help

I know this probably belongs in Tech Support & Help, but I really need an answer, A.S.A.P.

Well, basically I bought Guitar Hero Legends of Rock and a Les Paul guitar from a trusted seller on Ebay. (PS3)

The item was brand new and full sealed.

The game works perfectly, and the guitar appears to be in mint condition. However, the buttons are HIGHLY unresponsive, and it takes about 20 presses of the button for it to work. Clearly, this makes it impossible to play in game, not to mention it takes up to 10 minutes just to get into the game due to the amount of times you have to press buttons.

Is there any sort of fix for this? I tried the 'paper trick' that I found on youtube, but it didn't work.

    Please help, thanks.

Sorry to say that you've been sold a broken controller, both a friend and I have had the same issues so we couldn't sell ours :(.

We couldn't find a fix. I'd get your money back, the seller knew of the problem before they sold it to you.

I purposely put it here as that section of the forum has minimal activity

The item was unopened, apparently they get them straight from the supplier and send them off.

They had all positive feedback and had sold quite a few of these before, maybe I was just unlucky?

Definitely contact the seller. If they are as trusted as they make out, they will send you another.

    Guitar Hero Controller Help

I sent them a message on ebay saying:

    Hello.
I recently received Guitar Hero 3 + Les Paul Guitar from you. The delivery time was great, 2 days to be more precise.
However, there is an issue with the guitar. Sometimes the buttons just do not work, it can talk up to 10 attempts just for a button to register, making it impossible to play Guitar Hero, not to mention it taking a long time to actually get into the game.
What shall I do? Would it be possible to return the item and be sent a new one? Or just get a full refund?
    Please assist me, thank you.

    They replied with:

Hi, if you have a look on activision Help pages
they are usually very good with replacing faulty
    items.

I am quite confused, as I do not see how this involves activision. What do you think I should do? Ugh.
