Guide Verifiers

Well I'd assume we would... we're allowed to put ourselves on the list if we want to help out of course.

 

Will there be some sort of place or method for the verifiers/mods who verify to collectively post about the various guides and share/centralize information?

This is actually being discussed and most likely implemented - a private section where the verifiers are able to check existing guides, patched guides, etc. And then they're able to check things such as whether the guide is being leaked or resold without permission. I'm sure we'll hear more of this from an Admin soon The suggestion has been made though, and greeted warmly.

Alright that is good to hear, as it would be entirely pointless to make guide verifiers, but not have a method of allowing them to discuss what methods are out, what has been leaked, who is selling what, etc. Glad to hear staff realized the section needs some change.

 

Looks like somebody want's another private forum he can get into.

Nate's idea is pretty good there should a section for guide verifiers to post have a discussion on what guides have been sold already or commonly know.

 

lol I have access to three already, really not too worried about it. Just seems like it would be smart and allow the verifiers to be able to collectively have an area where they can keep all the guides info together.

 

i agree that having a place where the guide verifiers discuss/place the guides is a good idea.

 

Very interesting, it's good to hear this idea is being implemented into Sythe. I'm surprised it took this long, good suggestion.

 

So this suggestion has been accepted? The rules are in line with what I suggested, with no fee. If one guide in two or three is high-quality, frankly that's a very decent payment.

Also, is having a runescape account going to be a requirement?

 

I'm pretty sure it is..without a RS account how can you verify RS related guides?

 

That's the problem at the moment actually. Not many mods have runescape accounts that they can test the methods with.

Yes, mods are welcome to verify guides + add their own name on the list.

 

Anyone who's dumb enough to attempt to sell a guide on how to make IRL $ in the RS Guide sections obviously lacks common sense. I think these threads should be locked immediately. Most (or all) of them are scams. Why sell the guide if you can already make tons of cash with it?
